Data Sources & Accuracy

All tax rates used by this calculator are sourced from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and updated at the start of each financial year (1 July).

The calculator covers income tax (resident, non-resident, and working holiday maker rates), Medicare Levy, Medicare Levy Surcharge, HECS/HELP repayments, Superannuation Guarantee contributions, salary sacrifice, Low Income Tax Offset (LITO), and Low and Middle Income Tax Offset (LMITO where applicable).

Results are estimates only. Your actual tax assessment from the ATO may differ due to individual deductions, allowances, and other factors.
